Located in Northern Kyoto Prefecture this family run microbrewery was established in 1871. Instead of following the brewing textbooks Mr Taniguchi, the president and master brewer has dedicated himself for the last 35 years to the art of sake, producing just a few thousand bottles every year.

This sake is also known as Tango Kingdom Junmai Daiginjo and the name is based on the Ancient Tango Kingdom that existed thousands of years ago.

This elegant Junmai Daiginjo saké offers up a fruity aroma and well balanced sourness. An excellent pairing to bring out the umami flavours of cheese and cheese-based dishes like pastas, fondues.
