Orders

When placing an order with Heigo Australia via the website, you confirm that all the details that you have provided in completing the order are true and correct. 

Liquor Orders

We will verify your liquor license before despatching your order. We reserve the right to refuse your purchase if your liquor license provided is not valid or does not match your business name and details. Should this problem arise, we will attempt to contact you within 3 days of placing your order. If, for any reason, we are unable to contact you, we will despatch your order minus any liquor items and refund the amount.

Damage in Transit

If there are any problems with your order, please email us at  shop@heigo.com.au within 48 hours of receipt of delivery. Heigo Australia/Nippon Food Distributors will not be held responsible for any damage or breakage if informed after 48 hours of receipt of delivery.

Insurance companies require evidence via photos of the damaged item and its packaging béfore you send the item back. Please email or send these with your return to help us assess & process your return more quickly.

If the product is damaged or broken as a result of courier or postal transit, please keep all original packaging and photograph the damaged item and packaging.

Damage due to misuse or neglect

We do not accept returns as a result of customer misuse or neglect of care of our products. For saké, please store in a cool dry place. If the saké is Il nama ll / unpasteurised, please store refrigerated. Read more about saké storage.

Modification of changes to prices

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue delivery, without notice at any time.

We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of our service to comply with orders.

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products to be sold online to any person or persons. All descriptions of product or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue the sale of any product at any time. 

An order will only be accepted once payment has been made in accordance with our order and accepted by the credit card provider as to availability of funds.

In no case shall Heigo Australia/Nippon Food Pty Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, suppliers or service providers be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract or tort, strict liability or otherwise, arising from the use of this website to make deliveries of our products, nor the supply thereof, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as result of the use of this website or any content (or product) made available from this website.

Heigo Australia/Nippon Food Distributors supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Please check specific legislation in your state or territory (for example, in VIC please visit https://www.vcglr.vic.gov.au/ ).  

New South Wales: Liquor Act 2007 - It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. Victoria: Warning - Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (penalty exceeds $17,000), for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (penalty exceeds $700). Western Australia: WARNING. Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises. South Australia: Under Liquor Licensing Act 1997, Liquor must NOT be supplied to persons under 18. Queensland: Under the Liquor Act 1992, it is an offence to supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years. Tasmania Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 it is an offence: for liquor to be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years. Penality: Fine not exceeding 20 penalty units. For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor. Penality, Fine not exceeding 10 penality units.
