Created using the traditional methods and barrel storage techniques that are normally used for making Shochu, this whisky successfully blends the subtle flavours of the Japanese spirit with the malty and slightly sweet notes of whisky. “Mu-Mei” in Japanese means “Nameless” which emphasises the distiller’s desire to focus not on brand but on the taste of the spirit, an exquisite balance that maximises the taste of malt while taking advantage of the characteristics of each of the ingredients.
