Hailing from the port town of Ishinomaki, one of the top three fishing grounds in the world, Hirakou Shuzo Brewery has consistently lived up to its reputation of creating Saké that is the ideal complement with fish and seafood dishes. Utilising Yamada Nishiki rice, which is known for being the ideal rice for making Saké, this Junmai has a mild aroma that is contrasted with a rich taste and sharpness. Designed to be an in-meal Saké that goes well with any dish, the bright acidity and dry ample umami flavour give it a rounded taste with a vibrant crisp finish that can be enjoyed at any temperature.
